Some of the Big Books are being reprinted by Barnes & Noble's Metro Books imprint. If you visit their stores, you'll find them in the Bargain Book section. $7.98!

I'm a sucker for non-fiction comics, and these are wonderful! They are also good to take to big conventions, because you can get so many signatures of Big Name talent!

From my own experience, this was an attempt at DC/Paradox to expand their market share into regular bookstores. Since these were published in the late 1990s, they were ahead of their time. Perhaps now, if the Metro editions sell, DC might revive the line.

Or maybe they're waiting for a movie tie-in...

I have never found out why Wild Women was never published. Maybe the sales were just too low.

The Big Books remain on my shelves for easy access, unlike lots of the books I've drawn, which get stored in boxes. The Big Books are fun and readable, over and over.
