It’s very impressive to begin with, and I learned things from it. Then it goes into sub-prime mortgages, and the graphics for the mortgage borrowers are somewhat slanted. Rather than being nice stick people, these are bulbous obese ones who smoke and have too many kids. Right, so the issue is to do with supposed behaviours of those lent money, and nothing to do with how they were sold those mortgages…interesting that we all need a dumbed-down version of the story of the credit crisis, but somehow poor people are left tarred by the description. And it’s those very same poor people who are less likely to have the education that enables them to make the best financial decisions. But no, let’s simplify it by making it a moral issue…
