Kacey Camp in Brendan Behan’s THE HOSTAGE

Friday, July 10th, 2009

Behold, I shamelessly pimp for my immensely talented stage actress homegirl KACEY CAMP! Who should be on a TV show as the bubbly and terribly funny red headed sidekick every week.

Kacey looking faboo in this still from The Hostage.

When IRA men capture a British soldier as a hostage, they bring him back to a run-down Dublin brothel peopled by a bizarre cast of characters. Will the hostage be freed, go mad, or will he pay the ultimate price of war?

Brendan Behan’s raucous and hysterical drama overflows with an intoxicating blend of pathos, humor, dance and great Irish music. Don’t miss this masterpiece by on of Ireland’s most exuberant playwrights.

The Hostage opens July 11 at The Banshee and runs though August 16, Fridays and Saturdays at 8, and Sundays at 2. The Hostage features a huge cast of live musicians, dancers, singers, prostitutes, gunmen and sundry Irish miscreants. Be sure to make your reservations today!
