I've never had sweet pickled green tomatoes! I'll have to try it. My preference is for dilly pickles/tomatoes/beans.

I make all my own dills. Yum!

I remember my dad once (and unfortunately only once) made sweet pickled green tomatoes, yummy :)
It was a perfect "side" to various meals where sweet pickled vegetables was preferred. The liquid (brine?) becomes almost syrupy (is that even a word) and was good enough to eat by itself, even though it wasn't easy ;)

OMG, there's an olive oil ad circulating on my blog.

I want a big plate of tomatoes sprinkled with salt. I miss summer already!

Crikey, there's a Sciabica olive oil ad. I don't have much control over the ads on my blog, but if you see that one, click on it. I recommend that brand. They also make cosmetic grade lavender olive oil, which you can use on your skin. Or you can eat it.
