I have heard of Marvel’s Girl Comics, and I worked on it after all
on March 17th, 2010After this amusing whoopsie, in which I was mistakenly credited for work in the new Marvel’s Girl Comics, I got a nice note from the editor Jeanine Schaefer. She kindly called me with a very sincere and gracious apology, and invited me to participate in a future issue. She told me she had been hoping to ask me to participate all along.
I wasn’t sure I’d have time to add anything. I’m pretty busy. But after a few late nights, my pinup is finished and uploaded to Marvel’s servers and approved. So be sure to check out Girl Comics issue #4 (um, or 3) at your local comics shop!
Sorry, can’t show any previews.

I thought it was a three-issue series.
Eh, whatever. I never fill in invoices anymore, so God only knows what I am working on.

WooHOO!
You gonna do a Women of Marvel variant cover too?
Now, since you have not told us which FOOM fatale you besubjected, let us, your loyal fanbase, list which Marvel characters, both female and male (and alien) we would like to see delineated by your awesome artistry! (Sorry… got bitten by a radioactive toupee of Stan Lee.)
Here are mine:
The Starjammers
The Imperial Guard
Nightcrawler
Spider-Girl
1960s Iron Man cast, no armor
Ka-zar, etc. in the Savage Land (can you draw beasties?)
The White Rabbit and Arcade (such a cute couple!)
Wolverine and Black Widow
Black Widow and Deadpool
(Oooh… You draw, Gail Simone writes!)
Deadpool and Elektra?
(How many Marvels have you worked with?)
(And when does the auction start?)
Deadpool and Elektra?! If ever there was a suggestion that deserved a question mark, it’s that one.
The Imperial Guard might be fun though, being essentially the Legion without all the skin. However, The Eternals remains the only Marvel book Colleen simply has to work on. Er, IMHO, natch…
I am going to disappoint all of your by admitting none of the above.
And it’s not a cover.
I’m game to anything BUT 1960′s Iron Man, White Rabbit and Arcade.
I’d love The Eternals.
