Almost all the tone sheets on this entire series were hand applied by my mother. I so much appreciate the great help she has been on this series.
She had to get a business license to work for me, and since I lived in one city, and she lived in a small town, merry hijinks ensued. Many towns require artists to be licensed. Like handguns.
I guess they are afraid we’ll go off.
Thank you to everyone for reading here at the official website. By coming here instead of going to the many websites which unfairly and illegally take creator’s works and don’t pay the artist for use, you help me to go on with my story. I truly appreciate your support.
THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!
When we hit 500 members on my Facebook fan page, there will be a random drawing to win a page of my original art. Thanks!

I’m certain Seren has more staff on the shuttle than he lets on…
Well, someone has to clean the toilet.
Isn’t that was Jorvanna does? *snerk*
Wait a minute… you mean I don’t have to read this story a page a day? Woohoo! (Just kidding… I own the Aria issues, the hardcovers, and maybe even the graphic album…)
So… you could add a tag stating “Licensed by the State of Virginia” to your bio? Do you have a cool ID, or is it just a certiicate suitable for framing? Is there a test, like “Draw Tippy”?
I remember when I was in high school I had to get a business license from the city to do some extra work at home for my dad’s company so he could pay me above the table. Trouble was, the company cut checks to my “business name” which, of course, my bank would not cash because it wasn’t made out in my name, it was to MY NAME CO.
No wonder so many people just work under the table. The government sure doesn’t make it easy to be legit. In fact, they just like throwing trash cans in your path…
It was some stupid thing that, in the end, cost three bucks. And after she got it, they later sent her some kind of weird-o-gram threatening to nail her for not getting the $3 license which she already got.
It was a saga.
In the end, the stupid license cost everyone way more than $3.
whoops, yeah, the time stamp thing again. My comment box is a TARDIS
I think it may be related to a server problem we are having. The site keeps winking out.
I double checked. It looks like when our server has a hiccup, it resets our clock. I have no idea how to fix it. It usually resets itself, eventually.
there are days when I outright envy you, Colleen. This is one of them. Pure, green eyed jealousy. You have such a wonderful relationship with your mother, treasure it.
I still don’t recognise this stuff. I’m starting to think I’ve been reading the wrong comic all these years!
The art looks completely different on the website. It frames each piece and forces you to look at it differently. Quite interesting! This page almost disappears in the book, but it is striking on the website.
In my opinion, anyway.
yah. the graphic novel is noisy and you go from one page to the other. Here, you get to pause and enjoy each hand crafted masterpiece.
