Warren Ellis: Captured Ghosts
on April 20th, 2010I was filmed for this nifty documentary about our pal Biff, I mean Warren Ellis. Isn’t he cute?
Filmmaker Kevin Thurman wrote me this morning:
“There were some great clips in the footage we got. I especially loved your sense of humor and candidness. You are quite a character. 
Also, we made sure you resemble your age of 21 on film. ”
I told them I would hunt them down and murder them if they made me look bad on camera.

“Warren”, “Ellis” and “cute” are not words that often appear together, it has to be said. Just imagine the beady goodness that occurs when he and Alan Moore are in the same room…
You are quite a character, Colleen! A delightful one. That was one of the things at WonderCon that amused me — you are so articulate and eloquent, and you get swept up in the issue you’re discussing, and the soft Southern accent turns into full blown SOUTHERNESS with unique turns of phrase. All delivered with wit and charm.
