Marvel Girl Comics 2
on May 20th, 2010It’s out today, and I have a painted pinup in it. Would you believe this is my first fully painted work for Marvel? Gee.
I did some blue line color for them back in the dark ages on Hellraiser.
Anyway, getting good feedback on the piece so far. Hope you like it, too.
Thanks to Marvel and to my editor Jeanine Scheafer for including me in the project. If I can get Marvel’s permission, I will post some prelims for the work on my portfolio site.
If I had my druthers, I’d do all the Thor pantheon in this style. One of the first pieces I ever did for Marvel was a pinup of Balder. I’d love to take another shot at him.
