I have to agree with her; that outfit is kind of icky – bedsheets and bandages, blech!
Lewd outfit. *nod nod* I agree. Leaves little to the imagination. *snickers*
*checks off three more boxes on the “why I hate Bast” list*
D’mer, kick her out of this galaxy, I know you want to.
I honestly doubt that Bast actually knew anything about it. Really, I like Bast; she’s an interesting character, all of her negative traits come from being either alone for too long or a sole survivor and having to adapt to a very hostile environment.
@ Zowie:
I don’t want to influence readers, but I like Bast, too. And your assessment is exactly how I consider her when I write her.
Then again, I like all my characters, even the rotten ones.
Geez… the way they get on, one would think they’ll be “bosom buddies” one day…
(And why is D’Mer wearing the bedsheet when he jumps off of the bunk bed?)
That is a garment worn by gliders on his world that helps them steer when they levitate. This is established in previous story installments.
I like Bast as well. She aggravates me, and I really do hope D’mer wins their rivalry. But she’s a strong, survivor type. If it weren’t for the feeling I get that she’s got a healthy agenda of her own in place . . .
