And then the big idiots on Earth decided to use their caveman skills and take him apart. Yay for us morons!
Sigh, another page that should have been two pages. It’s really crammed. Sorry, folks.
@Zowie …huh? I thought Aeren did arrive safely to Earth and even had family. right? or I am missing something again. Sorry
He did.
Not really sure what Zowie is referring to here. Maybe Seren’s treatment by the angry humans?
Well, Aeren ARRIVED with no problems but he didn’t exactly survive living on earth – neither did his wife and half his kids (IS he still alive?)
caveman skillz=the institute. *grabs cookie*
Unless zowie’s read things I haven’t (which is possible, I’m sure), this is just assumption about why Liana and Jason are orphans. The question remains: what happened to the twins? And are their parents really, truly dead? It seems likely.
This is a crafty effort to get me to spill the beans! No, no I won’t talk!
pssssst! Guys, she’s susceptible to chocolate! Do you think we can bribe her?
I am particularly moved by the last panel in the second row; something about the faces is very powerful. Seren is obviously a wreck, but Aeren is harder to read. It seems like he’s trying to keep it together, maybe telling Seren to get a grip because he’s so close to breaking down himself and if Seren stays hysterical he will, too.
Just a guess, obviously, based on how he looks both sad and angry, how he’s shutting his eyes, and how he’s holding Seren who seems to be wailing. Fantastic job, Colleen, really evocative.
@Scribbleworks …chocholate, huh? I bake some delicious chocolate chip cookies no one is able to resist…Wonder if they can be send throw customs? XD
@Zowie – nice try! you almost got Colleen to confess the plot!
