Galahad and Dunstan both say “yeah, figured as much.” Everyone else is probably going to go berserk.
This argument, which goes on for a month on the website, lasts about 1 issue of the comic! Another way the internet comics reading experience transforms the material.
Uh Oh… Seren is a little box of endless surprises, isn’t he? I am with Zowie, bets on that Seren gets either hit again or at very least attempted to be strangled by angry earthlings
It lets us wallow in the moment, Colleen!
And this is a good thing in some ways — to really get a feel for the various attitudes and reactions, rather than just breeze through them. I think it actually makes the minor supporting characters more vivid. (Good thing you did a great job with them.)
Maybe the length of the argument is a good thing: if they keep it up, earth will never get invaded by the likes of Emeris. Hey, for all we know the comic started in the 80′s and they’re still up there bickering to this day.
I like taking it in slowly. I have bought the available books now and devoured them at a gulp. I found the story riveting and the art work lovely, but I think I’m enjoying the slow read more. A page at a time gives me the chance to really study the technique of the drawings as well as enjoying their delicacy and pay more attention to the background characters like Dunstan and Corrine.
