This portrait of Kovar was a private commission drawn in a copy of the A Distant Soil limited edition graphic novels. It is dated 2000, and because I did not have a scanner, it is reproduced from a photocopy. Final colors are in Photoshop. It’s nice to have a place to post some of these color portraits. I hope you enjoy seeing them!

Manly Kovar is manly.
Sorry, I felt obliged to say that. And damn lookit those cheekbones
Mmm, gorgeous. I’ve always loved Major Kovar.

Glad you like it! I’m learning a lot about digital color techniques. I prefer coloring over my original pencils, as you see.
Wooooo weeeeee!!! I can’t decide which I like more – his eyes or lips or nose, it’s all just so luscious!
Oh my God, the man has blue eyes. ::dies of lust::
Alas, they are grey eyes! LOL!
Don’t care, they look blue to me. ::glomps Kovar::
Either way, grey or blue, Kovar’s portrait is gorgeous. I hope you don’t run out of beautiful work to sell before I’m moved and settled next year, Colleen.
