   This was a page a few of my colleagues were sure would result in censorship problems. But times have changed. I never got a complaint, whereas back in the 1980′s, I would get complaints if characters merely hugged or held hands.

   How many phallic symbols can be found in this picture?

   If she can access the Nexus like that, is she the most powerful person around? Or can others do that?

   Remember Torsten, that most of her people, the shapechangers were killed off about the time she came to Earth. There aren’t many around who can do what she’s doing.

   I wonder what Seren’s plan was regarding the Nexus before he met Bast. He couldn’t have planned to have a shapechanger at his beck and call when he went recruiting.

   My idea is that while other people would have the power to control the Nexus, since it is keyed to one person, only someone who could precisely match that person would be able to do what Bast is doing right now.

   And since she is the only shapechanger left, that’s a subset of one.

   Of course, if this dude is killed off, they’d have to have a mechanism to have someone else put in his place.

   How many phallic symbols int his picture? It’s, like, the opposite of “Where’s Waldo”.

   @scribbler: great question, and I’m sure he morphed his plans as he went along. But I think it would be a far more complicated story if I wrote the “here’s what we were going to do” scenes! LOL!

   I wasn’t looking so much for the phallic symbols as amazed by the tentacle bondage action! This is like Urutsukidoji but with a defenseless bishonen dropped into the monstrosity of cables and wires.
   I love that this jacking into the “matrix” doesn’t seem pleasant or easy thing to do, gives it more feeling to the page!

   Difficult yes but not pleasant – I am not sure. The ‘AH’ and ‘AHHH’ could be expressions of pleasure.

    *sheepish* I have a tough time seeing the phallic. Of course, presuming Keris does have to deficate, some of those pipes have to go the obvious places.

    When I look at this Keris, I note his complete lack of muscle tone. And why would he have any, indeed?

    He’s scrawny.

    I imagine they use some kind of electric pulse muscle stimulator to keep him from complete atrophy.
