Separated at Birth: Rieken/Seren and Andrej Pejic

This gorgeous androgynous person is Andrej Pejic, a Serbian model who now hails from Australia. He’s represented by Storm Models, and is a dead ringer for our stunning alien hero. Since I seem to be getting an inordinate number of TV/movie rights queries these days, I know who I’d cast. Have no clue if this dude can act, but good golly, does he look the part.

Yeah, he needs to do an Enrique Iglesias for Hollywood. But wow. It’s like Orlando Bloom as Legolas, only with a purdy mouth and no eventual let-down of how the guy REALLY looks.

I wouldn’t toss Mr Bloom for eating crackers in the sack, but he’s a married man with a kid now, and all my hopes are gone, gone forever.

Oh, that will take some thought! I was looking at one of those stunning Bollywood actresses for Bast.
She would have to be really tall though.
She’d have to spend most of the movie standing on a box. Though, knowing Hollywood, they wouldn’t care about her height.
Wolverine is supposed to be short and squat, and they cast the towering Hugh Jackman.
No complaints from me.
There were a lot of complaints when Jackman was initially cast. Then female fans caught sight of early production pix of him shirtless and they shut up.
Male fans shut up after opening day. Heh.
Casting Kovar wouldn’t be easy. Well…. of course, I’m so biased, I’d throw Jeffrey Donovan into any part (although the idea of casting him as Emeris has a certain perverse appeal).
Ray Stevenson for Kovar? Or is he a bit too roughly cut? I’d totally go for Monica Belluci for Bast, but she probably doesn’t have the height. She just makes me go “daymn” every time.
Big no to Jeffrey Donovan.
What about Rupert Everett? Charles Mesure?
How about James Marsters as Dunstan?
Oh, I’d love to see him as Emeris. He was such a great villain in Torchwood!
