I was just trying to figure out the Hawkman mythos today. Some article (I forget what I was reading and where) mentioned him and alluded that he wasn’t married or a Thanagarian police officer anymore and it just made me sad. I loved his character; just the fact that he’s married to an equally kick ass lady and they’re “police officers” and not some sort of random vigilanties is so appealing. Also loved the straight man routine both of them were frequently forced into when working with the JLA.
Leave Hawkman alone, you big meanies! He’s awesome.
It’s funny because it’s true…Hawkman is a wicked cool visual, in search of a concept.
