I’ve some interesting unpublished work now available at my ebay shop, including Wonder Woman concept sketches. I will continue to offer a select few pieces for sale until September/October, and then no more art or book sales for the rest of the year. I will be out of the country, and unable to ship orders.

Tom Stillwell’s UNDERNEATH at Kickstarter!

Tom Stillwell is one of the most generous and dedicated indie creators I know. He runs UNSCREWED, an organization dedicated to providing legal aid for creators. I know for a fact he has repeatedly dipped into his own pocket to pay for food and housing for others, and I know one needy artist got four figures of support out of Tom. There is no one who has been kinder or more caring.

Tom would like your support for his indie comic UNDERNEATH, now at the fundraising website kickstarter. For a small donation, you can help Tom realize his dream, and get a cool comic Kurt Busiek describes as, “A strong idea, delivered with energy and drive—a modern-day Chicago rife with Indian magic, ancient evil and kick-ass derelicts. If you like Jim Butcher’s DRESDEN FILES, you should really check out UNDERNEATH.” – Kurt Busiek (Marvels, Astro City)

With about 16 days to go, the project is just under half funded. I know we can bring it home!

JMS Wonder Woman you didn’t see

Some time ago, after J Michael Straczynski’s new version of Wonder Woman was first released, JMS asked me to do some concept sketches for a more fantasy-oriented version of the character. I know this will set the internet into a tizzy, but this was more rumination than reality. I was not asked to draw a series, just to do some concept sketches. It is very unlikely any of these sketches will be used for anything. So whether you like ‘em or hate ‘em, be aware that concept sketches are meant for brainstorming, and we do not censor our brainstorms. You put it on the paper, then you draw something else.

JMS gave me permission to post the sketches here. This lot of pencil sketches is now for sale on ebay.

A couple of the color doodles finished in Photoshop.

Since there is no original color art here, I will provide a copy of the color print out for the buyer of the pencil sketch. All three original pencil sketches are on one piece of acid free paper. Two color sketches will be on one piece of paper.

I have a number of other sketches I will post later.
