Oh, God . . . I think I’m going to have a heart attack when this is resolved. ::thud::
I love the way you weave humor into the midst of some deadly serious drama, Colleen. Those are mighty irritated elephants there! And I laugh at the way they show their rear ends to Niniri. I realize it’s a reflection of Liana’s thoughts just then. And the fact that Niniri doesn’t know what the creatures are, but is appalled by them anyway is funny too.
And of course, Emeris, who is not tapped in to the Liana wave-length, has no idea of what Niniri is reacting to.
Great expressions, both on the humanoids and the elephants!
Ha ha ha ha, they’re still cuter than Minetti.
I like that Liana is thinking of real elephants, but cartoon elephants, with little X’s where their naughty bits ought to be.
I laughed at this, it’s great! (And I need the laugh today) It made me think of Dumbo’s “Pink Elephants on Parade” song.
omg I never noticed the little elephant parade around the halo on Liana. That is awesome XD
I’m thinking the digital edition of this book is going to be WIN. My scans are very high res, and people will be able to zoom in and see all the detail in its ample, neurotic glory.
It troubles me that Seren keeps flashing his cards.
