I was always rather glad to have Galahad in the mix, precisely for his very different take on royalty and duty. He’s not a prig, any more than the Desert Peach is.
Perhaps it’s because she often seems like a six-year old. He may be confused about her age.
Scribblerworks is indeed correct! In medieval times a noblewoman (especially one who was a monarch’s first born) usually was betrothed before the age of 10 and married at the age of 12. This is no surprise since most women went through 2 or 3 husbands and EVERYONE was very lucky if they saw the age of 30.
Galahad is pretty. Liana is pretty. Maybe they should be sittin’ in a tree…
