Owie. Nothing like a little well-applied logic to take the fun out of a testosterone-fueled squawk fest. Sometimes logic is the only thing that throws a wet blanket on stuff like that because being aware that his opponent 1) could fry him and 2) is easily head and neck taller and (probably) proportionately more muscular didn’t even register with Minetti. Thank you, Galahad.
Has anyone else noticed that these three guys have much more in common than any of the other characters in Seren’s group? All three are authority figures. All three are devoted to their beliefs. All three are completely reliable and responsible to a fault. And all three are undeniably good people in their own idioms. No wonder they’re squabbling but agreeing at the same time. Pity that only one seems to be thinking with his brain and not his sense of self-importance.
I love this comment!
Yeah, wonderful insight, Zowie!
“I know what’s best for her!”
“No, I’m the one that knows where she should be!”
And then Galahad hits them with the obvious 2by4. “Got to rescue her first, guys!”
But it’s a really nice moment, because they’re all kind of right about things.
