Hey folks, hate to continue to run silent and deep, but the internet fees where I am are ridiculous, running up to $1 per minute. So far, I’ve spent over $700 on internet access.
The minute I posted this to the FB page, someone popped in to tell me to just go to an internet cafe! Whee! But they don’t have those in the middle of the Tasman Sea. My choices are limited.
Having a swell time Down Under and in Middle Earth, but most of it has been work related, so not a lot of time off. We did a 4:30 AM drive by of a Hobbit Set, and I must say, Peter Jackson knows how to turneth the night into day. Boy was that a burn for the eyes at that dark hour. No, I didn’t see anything awesome super exclusive that I can blog about, and if I did, I wouldn’t tell.
We also spent some quality time with artists Daniel Falconer, John Howe, and Daniel Reeve and family. Always inspiring to be with such terrific artists. Daniel took us to lunch at Peter Jackson’s Park Road studio, which is awesomely gorgeous, in Arts and Crafts bungalow style.
Actor Jed Brophy stopped by our hotel for a lovely visit. He looks handsome and fit. And nothing like he does under all that dwarf makeup. I showed him some Gone to Amerikay pages for which he modeled a couple of years ago. He’s the perfect artist’s model, all lean lines and angles.
Absolutely exhausted from travel and work, but will blog more soon.

Cool. All that’s missing is “wish you were here!” Keep having fun, send more postcards.
