This is a beautiful page, I love all the texture and the detailing on the furniture. And I go cross-eyed just thinking about how long it must have taken to rule out all the perspective lines in panel two (or maybe you're so good you can just eyeball that stuff, it wouldn't surprise me!).

I think people have commented before how seeing the story served up one page at a time like this changes the experience of reading it -- when I can't just flip ahead to the next page, it makes me stop and *really* look. And something I don't think I was consciously aware of before is just how much your work has influenced mine. At first blush, our styles don't look that much alike, but there are certain things you do -- like the way you inked the fabric folds in panel 1 -- that I see turning up in my art all the time. So a belated thank you for that!

And then there's all these shirtless guys who seem to keep turning up in my pages...can't imagine where I got that from... ;-)

I suppose it MAY be a good thing Jason's disruptive powers haven't `turned on', before he's able to control them....or those bullies would be TOAST. And it wasn't good for Carrie, so it would have been equally troublesome for Jason AND his family. :-(
