Ooh! Jason! You’ve been holding out on The Resistance, haven’t you! Your Dad told you at least some of his background a decade before you ever met Beys and the others.But you seem to be keeping that to yourself! Or at least we haven’t seen you sharing that info. Good boy! This makes me deliriously happy for some reason! 🙂

Since there are no longer ads on the site, I feel comfortable sharing the fan art. Some people expressed concern that I would be using fan art for profit. I am pretty sure this was not a serious concern, but since I had a fan who sent their work in the past later declare that they expected to be paid for it, I’m a little touchy.

I don’t pay for fan art. I only pay for work I commission.

Over the last year or so, I’ve been able to scan and archive a large number of pre-publication A DISTANT SOIL sketches, as well as character designs and more. I’ve shown some of them on my FB page, but they will be easy to find here.

🙂 BTW, I finally figured out how to divide the chapter sections of A DISTANT SOIL into separate chapter headings that fall into place in order. Which means I will be able to post sections of nothing but fan art and development sketches which you will be able to peruse or skip to follow the story in order. Just go to the tab SELECT STORY at the bottom of the page, and it will show you a drop down menu from which you can choose. I will begin posting never-before published sketches and some of your fan art shortly.

Etan’s face – so….sculpted…..bit of Teramisian DNA in there, mayhap? But then the whole Ovanan planetfolks started out looking quite `fit’ (in every sense of the word), didn’t they?
