I agree that writing characters that are good people is actually more challenging. And how can they be more boring? Because they are sticking to principles, their choices are more limited — that should make for more drama in situations, not less.

I love the way your write Galahad. And that you do give him a touch of a sense of humor that doesn’t have to be nasty.

OK, I know this is terrible, please forgive me, but with his right shoulder hunched/lifted a bit like that(?), when I squint I see him hoisting a sword and intoning “By The Power of Greyskull!”

…and then I imagine HOW MUCH DIFFERENT our childhoods would have been had that series been drawn/written like ADS

…starting reality warp drive in 5…4…3…2…

🙂 It’s a cliche these days to write this character to be a complete asshole. Some people think that’s edgy, but I think it’s a total bore. It’s much harder to write a good character who is interesting.

I tried to right some things I didn’t like about the set of his cheekbones digitally, but that just muddied up the picture. In future, I will use the earlier version of this piece.
