Love Walt Simonson… you’re right about the energy. He brought a lot of that to his run of Thor back in the day. He also brought all the Norse Mythology into the comic in a way that had not been done before. I had never really cared for Thor much prior to Simonson, but his run was so good it elevated that which came before and made it retroactively more interesting to me!
