It’s the original location of that word balloon. I didn’t clean it up properly. That sort of thing usually disappears when we do final cleanup for publication. Which I’m not doing here on the blog.
🙂 Back then I didn’t have a light box, so would carefully draw things like that by hand. It made everything ten times harder, but I learned to observe. Nowadays, I would not go to such lengths! I’d just use a lightbox.
