This piece has a convoluted history. It was published in a color version of the series in 1989. I was never able to get a good scan of the art, so did some digital tweaking years later. It’s some of my earliest digital work, so it has issues. I didn’t even know how to use layers back then.

It’s still a nice image, and I’m glad to be able to bring it to you in a good scan.
