This is a convention sketch that I’d hoped to color and post here, but I did not realize the scan is of very poor quality, so it would be a wasted effort. Sorry about that!
I have been out of town for a whole week and didn’t get much art done, so Thanksgiving will be catch up time for me! My family will be here for the holiday, and we are all a jolly bunch, so I expect to not only have a lovely time with them, but to be happy and content making art.
I wish all of you a wonderful holiday!
If you are looking for a unique treat this holiday, I am selling a few select pieces of art at my ebay store. I will post a few more over the next couple of weeks, so keep watching this space!
Also, scroll down for bargains on A DISTANT SOIL graphic novels: buy volume I get Volume II free!
And I have a very limited number of AMAZING FANTASTIC INCREDIBLE STAN LEE signed by both me and Peter David. First come first served.

Seeing all that lovely, curvy drapery and hair makes my fingers itch for pencil crayons and markers. I hope you won’t find this insulting but have you ever thought of doing a colouring book? ( I mean not a pulp paper kids’ one but a fine art one.)

Yes, I fully intend to do one, I have been planning it for awhile! 🙂

Same thought, here–
I’d love seeing what I could do with a set of good quality color pencils (my favorite medium)!

I’ve been doing nothing but painting the Neil Gaiman graphic novel over my highly rendered pencils for weeks, and it is very soothing. It’s only difficult when my arm has had enough after many hours of it, but of all the art tasks, I’d say coloring is the most relaxing.
