Serezha
This is one of those times you do a character portrait, and it becomes the definitive portrait, everything you do before and after just doesn’t measure up!
Serezha looks alive to me here, I’m so happy with this drawing. It’s tricky to bring life to into a picture of someone when you never had a model for them.
I considered coloring this one, but I decided I need to move on with new work right now.
Don’t forget to check the sidebar for updated files of pages of the comic. The archives were wiped out over a year ago, and I am reloading them all at the rate of 5 a week. Superior scans to the original files at nearly twice the size. Much easier to read online. Over 150 digitally restored pages, most shot from the original art, and looking better then they ever did before.

Yes, I think I would MARRY that man!
(Maybe even if he didn’t ask)

He’s classic. He’s meant to be about the handsomest man in the book, but so quietly handsome, you have to give him a second look to see it!

Don’t think I’d have a chance of marrying, (or anything else), the Uber Hunk I’ve had on MY radar for YEARS now ;-D

I don’t think there is enough of this kind of work in comics. I love me some color… but I also like good pencil (or ink) shading. I know there are a lot of fans who are hung up on color and some friends of mine used to outright to refuse to even look at a “black & white” book… Now I’m not saying color would be a bad thing in a pic like this. It would just become a different good piece.

FYI, you may see things get wonky around here for a bit. Trying to do some light redesign. I have always hated the yellow, but I”m thinking the new stuff I’m doing is harder to read. Will keep tweaking.

Looks like House Teramis are infiltrating the police force, as well as the fire fighters, and just WHO bred a GINGER selwit?! 😀
