The Avatar
A watercolor portrait of Seren in formal dress as the Avatar. This is cropped badly and is fairly low res, but it is true to the color of the original on my screen. I like this piece, I think it’s an unusual look for comics, and it shows the influence of Sulamith Wulfing on my work. I really want to do more watercolor originals. My schedule is going to be a bit less crazy through Christmas, and I might have time to do a couple. However, it goes back to red alert in January. I’m not complaining.
Also, if you are waiting on a shipment, I sincerely apologize for being so late. I am finally home from my travels. Those of you who had to wait will receive some very nice extras, including signed prints and other items valued at over $30 free goodies per order!!!

Striking portrait!
Also, the packages are well worth the wait!

🙂 I sure hope so I have a lot of packing to do, I am way behind. But I don’t have another show for five weeks, and no hard deadlines until next year.

That’s a plus to have that flexibility. Less stress, hopefully.

Do you ever make models to work out the details of your drapery? It’s extremely elaborate.
Colleen Doran
Nope. I didn’t use any reference on this piece at all. I don’t recall ever creating a drapery model.

This is all kinds of awesome!
