My art from this period looks so strange to me. All those hard edges and jagged lines. Reflection of my mood? Hm. I was looking ahead at the art around issue 11 (this is art from issue 9) and it changes dramatically. The lines are much smoother. I like it alot better as it developed from there. But my lettering is too sad. Must redo it all someday.

I’ve always thought this chapter of the comic had the weakest art in the series. I tried using a harsher inking style, because I was getting a lot of criticism about my “girly” art, but this was a big mistake. I should have just told those people to piss off. I pretty much did, eventually.
