Today’s installment of A Distant Soil was brought to you by a generous donation from Laura Fleek. Thank you so much! A $20 donation supports this website for one day! (And after today’s jolly events, people wonder why we ask for website donations. Criminey, a day’s work shot to hell…) AND SCREW IT! I put the higher res image back up. We’ll fix this, but no one should be forced to look at muddy online comic pages. Life is too short. Curse this wicked, wicked cpu that brings me such grief!

I’ve taken full posts off the RSS feed because my server is complaining about the huge cpu burden our site is putting on his equipment. While we love lots of traffic, I would really prefer not to have to move to a new server. I’m not sure cutting the RSS feed will help any. We’ll see.

Poor Elayne Riggs was a recipient of the convention crud which has felled everyone I know, and I am sicker than I was two days ago. But we also have her to thank for these lovely pics, including a nice one of me at the show. As you can see, my delicate Southern self required layers of protection. Alas, the layers did not save me from the flu. Hey, subscribe to this blog for $1 per month! You get absolutely nothing extra for it, but more pages of A Distant Soil online and my gratitude. Not a bad deal after all!
