Roses
This is an alternate version of the final cover of A DISTANT SOIL 32. My friend Jozef Szekeres, who is a noted animator and animation director for Disney and other clients, encouraged me to try painting with animation cel paints. I didn’t really care for it, though I love the look. It is much easier to get this kind of look in a digital painting, that’s for sure. Animation cel paint handles like glue. And the original art tends to be fragile and unstable. I still have all these paint containers, but I bet they have all dried out by now.

I totally forgot how hot he is in that armor…! He looks beautiful! Talk about your knight in shining armor! How could anyone see him as unattractive must be blind! I think my ovaries just exploded! XD He does look beautiful and I love the contrast in styles between the roses with him and Seren. It’s beautiful! If this was a print, I’d totally get it for myself since my birthday is next week! Totally worth the late hour viewing!

Glad to be back with an all new computer so I was finally able to see that early cover art. It looks so good! I actually got the computer for my birthday tomorrow! So excited! Hopefully I’ll be more active on here since I missed this comic so much!
