TROLL BRIDGE

I don’t usually post things that are not A DISTANT SOIL related, but this kinda is.

In A DISTANT SOIL #25, I did an eight page adaptation of a short story by Neil Gaiman. I had some extra money and thought it would be cool to publish stories by writers I liked.

I was never very happy with the job I did. Short deadline, cramped space. Years later, I popped a note to Neil saying how bad I always felt about it, and how if I had the chance to do it again, I’d knock people’s socks off.

So he said SURE!

So here it is. Coming in late September, a 64 page fully painted original graphic novel.

I’m telling you now because you have to preoder it now. Like RIGHT NOW. Ask for it at your comic shop or bookstore. Do not hesitate. It is a moral imperative.

So in a funky way, this is A DISTANT SOIL related.

Go buy it, it took forever to do, and believe me, that page rate didn’t even come close to covering it. Kinda joking. But not really.

There’s another Gaiman story I feel compelled to do. If this does well, I want a crack at that one. I’ve been dreaming of it for years.
